Pre-purchase — This is the most complete inspection of the vessel, taking time to go over everysystems. It can involve a sea trial, out of water inspection, and complete inspection of all running gear. It will inform the prospective buyers of any broken or missing equipment and give you a fair value of the vessel.
Insurance — A survey may be required for you to get insurance on a vessel. This will give you conditions of the boats systems, and that it is safe for it’s intended use. More and more insurance companies are asking for an out of water inspection also, so ask your insurance company what is required before hand.
Damage and Claims — This is usually requested by the insurance company, to check the amount of damage, and cause. We work with the insurance company and the repairer to make sure your boat is repaired in a professional manner.
